For the last 25 years, the London photographer Carl Warner, uses only food to create beautiful landscapes. A series of photographs will take you to an unchanted gastronomical world with your mouth watering.
After starting his career in landscape photography and the advertising industry, the artist Carl Warner one day went to the market of Portobello. There, he came face to face with mushrooms that looked to him like trees. Since then, the artist reproduces amazing sceneries that are made only from food, in a series of photographs entitled “Foodscape”. Fruits, vegetables, meats, sweets, chocolates, fish, almost everything is used to create these stunning works of art. He reproduces the famous architectures like the Great Wall of China or the Taj Mahal, or he creates totally original landscapes. The artist takes us to a magical and colorful world.
One hesitates between wanting to devour everything or just admiring the magnificent scenery. Which one of these landscapes would you like to explore physically?
