You would have seen many different types of hotel with innovative themes to attract the tourists by surprising them. However, Faralda Crane Hotel located in Amsterdam, Holland is unique as it has been built in a crane at the shipping dockyard. Perhaps, it is the only hotel in the world that offers bungee jumping to its adventurous guests from a height of 90 meters. Whereas the rooms themselves have height of 50 meters above the sea level.
This hotel can be regarded as the oldest and unique structure built using a 250 tons crane which was itself built in 1951. The crane lay abandoned for many years until the architects and engineers decided to reconstruct it as a hotel. The project was completed in four years and costed €3,150,000. Eventually, the hotel opened in 2015.
Some of the best Dutch designers were hired for the interior design and decoration of the 3 luxury rooms in the hotel. From the top of the crane you can have unique view over the Amsterdam city. Similarly, you can enjoy the spa located at the top of the crane while at the same time enjoying a beautiful seaside sunset. All these luxuries make this hotel quite expensive costing more than €400 for a night’s stay. While Bungee is not just limited to the hotel guests and each jump costs €85. This cost also includes the instructions for jumping, as well as, certificates after successful jump.
We are really amazed by this hotel and would surely like to stay a night there. And you would you dare to try the Bungee jumping?
