The sleeping room of a child in advanced countries shows his personality. However, this is not true for children who are living in underdeveloped countries. This series of photographs will show you the difference in the living standard of children in developed and underdeveloped countries.

“Where Children Sleep” is the name of this series of photographs, in which a view of the sleeping room of children has been captured . This shoot was conducted by James Mollison who made a journey around the world to capture these extraordinary images from United States to Mexico, then Brazil, the UK , the Italy, Israel, the West Bank , the Kenya , the Senegal, the Lesotho, the Nepal, the China and India.

The difference between the living style of each child attracts the attention of the viewers. One mother of a child is spending $1000 per month on the dressing of his child. While on the other hand a child sleeps outside with the herds of goats as he is a shepherd. So these pictures give you a clear picture of the inequality that exists in the world between the children of a developed and underdeveloped countries, and how luck we feel that we are living in a developed country.
