Fujitsu Laboratories has developed a system that converts the paper surface into an interactive tactile touch screen. The system is named as “Fingerlink Interaction System”. The system does not require any special hardware, just a webcam, a normal projector and a software with image processing capability. This system can analyse the surface of the paper and adjust its co-ordinates. The researchers have demonstrated how they can instantly highlight and share a printed material. Fujistu hopes to commercialize the system in 2014. Click on the video below for more details.
