In Zejinang Province of China, there exists an almost deserted replica of Paris city. Like Paris, the city also contains a 108 meters high copy of Eiffel Tower. We take you to heart of this city.
We know that our Paris city is the envy of the world, well known for its Eiffel Tower, monuments and streets with ancient french architecture. However, Chinese have gone a step even further and copied an entire city with its streets and its Eiffel Tower. Except that this Eiffel Tower is only 108 meters high as compared to the original with a height of 324 meters.
The original idea behind this replication of Paris was to encourage the tourism of Chinese middle class inside China and also provide Chinese with an overview of this beautiful city. Only 2,000 people will be able to live in this city with 700 residential buildings.

Some people explain that this phenomenon of “copy / paste” of major European cities on Chinese soil by the government is a desire to encourage the Chinese middle class to remain in China and not see the democratic world with its “democratic ideas”. An interesting interpretation that may not be necessarily true!
Do you think that this city is a tribute to architectural marvels of Paris or an infringement of copyright laws? You may also like to read Top 10 Tallest Copies Of The Eiffel Tower In The World.
