“Not on App Store” is a photography project that invites us to leave the screens of our mobiles and laptops in favor of the true pleasures offered to us by life. We all know the phrase “Available on the App Store,”, this project makes us aware of the fact that there is still not a mobile application for every kind of thing. Simple and evocative!
Developed on Tumblr, “Not on App Store” includes photographs of scenes from everyday life on which we find stickers “Not Available on the App Store”. This is a way of reminding us that the simple pleasures are not always available on the Apple Store but rather very close to us. In order to further develop this project, the designers offer us a series of pictures taken in a park or invite us to purchase or create our own stickers.
This project has really touched us and we welcome the creators behind this idea. These images make us realize that for someone immersed in the new technologies should think about the reality of life as well. Would you be willing to give up your smartphones for a few hours to share simple pleasures of life?
