This revolutionary dog-like robot, developed by Google, is capable of walking through difficult terrains during natural disasters. Indeed, it has an incredible sense of balance that allows it to stand in any situation. For some, this robot might become man’s best friend. We tell you more about this revolutionary machine.
Recently Google had acquired Boston Dynamics which is a company well known for its expertise in development of the humanoid robots. We know about Boston Dynamic’s projects like BigDog. Recently, it has has posted a video of a 72 kg robot named as Spot which appears to be half dog and half horse. It is battery powered. As it is evident from the video that the robot has the ability to walk, trot or even climb any terrain. you can see in the video, Spot can walk, trot and even to climb on any terrain.
This robot is not quite like its predecessor Big Dog. It weighs more than 100 kg and is capable of supporting a load of about 160 kg. However, Spot can travel with greater agility and speed. It is also able to move in narrow areas. For example, you will see Spot rush boldly into buildings blown by an explosion, or even move in the streets with huge crowds. Boston Dynamics continues to be a leader in the developments in robotics.

We are quite surprised rather impressed by the performance of Spot. However, we are concerned about the impact the robots can have on our society, while others see it as a symbol of modernity. Would you be willing to adopt a robot pet?
