Have you ever dreamed of taking down the moon from sky and keeping it with you? A Russian physicist was successful in achieving this dream. He created a fairly descent replica crescent moon light and took over to the rest of the world from Taiwan to Paris and then North Pole.
A former Russian physicist, Leonid Tishkov had made a superb model of a bright crescent moon as part of a contemporary art festival. Very much attached to his creation, the artist kept it with himself at home. Then took it to the rest of the world.
From Paris to Berlin, Leonid Tishkov embarks on this trip around the world with his portable moon, posing for photographs (taken by different photographers). These surrealists photographs leave us dreaming.
These photographs are truly beautiful! We especially love the one with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The integration of the moon in the natural and urban landscape is breathtaking. What object would you take along with you for tour around the world ;)?
